“Hilda Gatreaux” © 2019 is a portrait of a Woman of April . Hilda Gateaux was a civil rights attorney and represented many of the political prisoners detained and imprisoned by the Trujillo regime. She was a resistance leader during the US invasion of April 1965.Exhibited at El Museo del Barrio.
