“Tag!You’re It!” © 2019 is an allegory to illustrate the imbalance of military and economic power between the island nation of Dominican Republic as it was forced to face the April 1965 US invasion of Santo Domingo. The US first invaded DR in 1916. Exhibited at El Museo del Barrio.

“Tag! With ICE” are reminders of the vulnerability of immigrant children, those who are separated from parents and detained as they cross the border, as well as those who were born in America but whose undocumented parents have been detained by ICE and are awaiting deportation.
